There’s a new buzz in London town… at the top the Hilton London Bankside hotel there are bee hives teeming with busy little workers producing honey for the British beauty brand “Bee Good” to use. This particular wildflower honey ends up going full circle: it’s the main ingredient to the all-natural “Bee Good” variety of products, a number of which are used in the new Bee Good Signature Honey Facial placed in the hotel’s new “Spa To You” treatment rooms.
After a cleansing with the Honey & Propolis Cream Cleanser, your skin will be toned with the gentle Honey & Wild Mint Cleansing Water. Exfoliation follows after that, using the Honey & Camelina Facial Exfoliant to control sebum, after which your face area will be steamed in order to open up pores to extract and eliminate any stubborn black and white heads (this is optional).
The gorgeously unctuous NectaPerfecta enzyme mask follows – it is made from a blend of British honey, beeswax and natural plant waxes and oils to reduce trans-epidermal fluids loss in the skin and preventing dehydration. Finally, a layer of Youth Enhancing Hydrate, Smooth & Prime Serum, full of goods and propolis, larch extract and blackcurrant oil, is applied, before skin-quenching Honey & Wild Flax Moisturiser is added.
Once you’ve succeed waking up and peeling yourself off the treatment bed, you are served a warm soothing cup of herbal tea made with fresh honey (Of course) from the hotel’s rooftop.
A gorgeous facial, but if you’re claustrophobic, I advise against the steam element as it can take a while and it is pretty close to your face.
